Strip 26: The Quarantine

So now we know. Those satellites were left to keep anyone or anything from escaping Cykta and, as it turns out, to keep anyone or anything from returning. Of course, the visitors that arrived in Strip 9 have made short work of them, but the Federation Armada couldn’t have counted on the sort of firepower that ships would be using a thousand years later. That brings up its own question - if the satellites were outdated and easily dispatched, why has no one monitored or upgraded them throughout the years?
